About the lab

Where optics meets intelligent measurement

DAMIS Lab advances 3D optical sensing, 3D machine vision, extended reality, 3D tele-communication, and new-generation 3D sensors — with a core focus on the patterns and algorithms that unlock high-accuracy, high-speed 3D surface measurement. By minimizing the physical constraints that limit human measurement, our interdisciplinary team — spanning computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, and physics — enables more precise, efficient data capture and analysis, opening possibilities across industrial automation, robotics, medical diagnostics, and beyond.
